Perhaps we're irascible, but we're not irrationally irascible, and that makes all the difference. Because when you have eight kids and live right next to your in-laws, you really have to keep your cool. So far, no complaints (from the neighbors).

Baby Mitchell Birth
The Law family has already seen this on our family website, so they can just skip this video. No, this does not include the ACTUAL birth. That's yucky!
This is the closest you've ever let me get to one of your deliveries. I still remember Dad and I with our ears pressed to a door when the nurse opened it and we fell in like a scene from I LOVE LUCY.
Kathryn, you cheated. Your comment was supposed to go on the previous post. But at least you technically honored my wishes, unlike my brother-in-law Ed. And to answer you, it makes you more AND less irascible. Because although it can be a powder keg situation, it also opens you up to a lot of alleviating help.
